Transparency is the foundation of everything I do in algorithmic trading.
That is why I believe it is important to inform subscribers immediately whenever even a minor platform-level issue is observed.
Today, a small data-related glitch was noticed on Tradetron.
This post is to clearly explain what happened, what did not happen, and what action has been taken.
What Actually Happened?
- ✅ Universal exit condition was satisfied
- ✅ Positions were exited at the broker level
- ❗ However, Tradetron UI showed some quantity still visible
To be very clear:
📌 This was not a trading logic issue
📌 This was not a strategy failure
📌 This was not an execution error at the broker side
It appears to be a data synchronization / display issue on the Tradetron platform.
Important Clarification (No Panic Needed)
- Trades did exit as per universal exit logic
- Broker-side execution behaved normally
- No abnormal market risk was introduced
- This issue is not serious, but it needs correction
Such discrepancies are rare but can occur in live algo ecosystems, where multiple systems (exchange, broker, platform) interact in real time.
Action Taken from My Side
As soon as the issue was noticed:
- ✅ I contacted Tradetron Live Chat Support
- ✅ The issue was explained in detail
- ✅ Tradetron support acknowledged it
- ✅ They confirmed it has been forwarded to their backend technical team
Their response was along expected lines:
“This has been communicated to the backend team for investigation.”
Current Status
- ⏳ Issue is under review
- ⏳ Awaiting backend confirmation / fix
- 🔄 I am monitoring this closely
Once Tradetron provides a clear resolution or explanation, I will update subscribers immediately.
Why I Am Sharing This Publicly
Many traders hide platform issues.
I prefer to document reality.
Even if the issue is:
- Minor
- Temporary
- Non-impactful
Subscribers deserve to know exactly what is happening, in real time.
This is how trust is built and maintained.
What Subscribers Should Do
For now:
- No action required
- No panic
- Continue normal observation
I will personally verify:
- Data consistency
- Platform behavior
- Resolution updates
And communicate clearly.

Algo trading is a live, evolving ecosystem.
Occasional platform glitches can happen — what matters is:
- How quickly they are identified
- How transparently they are communicated
- How responsibly they are handled
