18 & 4 Natural Gas: Evening Strategy Results, Drawdowns and Full Reports | 13 October 2026

Natural gas facility at night, with the title Natural Gas Evening Strategy Review, 18 and 4 Strategies, 13 October 2026.

Performance review · 13 October 2026 · Results through 12 October 2026

A profitable strategy still has losing days, weak months and stretches below its previous peak. The useful question is how the complete record holds together. This update reviews two Natural Gas evening options strategies using their Tradetron deployment reports: 18 Natural Gas and 4 Natural Gas. Both original PDFs are included below so you can examine the figures yourself.

The reports show ₹1,55,610 and ₹2,33,837 net P&L respectively, each against a displayed ₹1,50,000 margin basis. These are separate deployments with different start dates, not a combined portfolio return or a controlled head-to-head experiment.

How to read the percentages: total ROI uses the displayed margin basis; the report’s drawdown percentage uses peak equity. They have different denominators. CAGR is the platform’s annualised calculation, not a promised yearly return. Win rate excludes flat days: 146 ÷ 238 and 203 ÷ 324, respectively.

“Net” here means after the reports’ estimated statutory and exchange charges, with the statutory-charge switch enabled. It does not mean that every subscriber’s actual brokerage, slippage, subscription fees or personal taxes have been deducted. The ₹1 difference when subtracting the rounded 4 Natural Gas cost figures is retained as reported rather than silently changing the headline.

18 Natural Gas: a profitable record with a difficult opening stretch

The 18 Natural Gas report covers 13 months and 256 trading days. Its ₹1,55,610 net P&L came with a ₹28,722 maximum drawdown and a longest underwater spell of 51 trading days. October 2025 was its weakest month at −6.7%; March 2026 was its strongest at +33.2%, or ₹49,733.

The record illustrates why the path matters as much as the final number. Ten profitable months did not eliminate three losing months or a worst day of −₹12,787. The “SL 6000” strategy label should not be read as a guarantee that a day’s loss cannot exceed ₹6,000—the report itself shows a larger realised daily loss.

4 Natural Gas: a longer record and lower reported drawdown

The 4 Natural Gas report covers 18 months and 339 trading days. It shows ₹2,33,837 net P&L, 15 positive months, a ₹26,117 maximum drawdown and a 40-trading-day longest underwater spell. February 2026 was its strongest month at +36.9%, or ₹55,404; October 2025 was the weakest at −2.3%, or −₹3,477.

Its reported Sharpe, Sortino and profit factor are higher than those of 18 Natural Gas, and its reported drawdown percentage is lower. Those observations describe these two reports. Different dates, deployments and execution histories prevent us from declaring a like-for-like winner.

Month-by-month returns: keep the red months visible

The following percentages are reproduced from the PDFs and rounded to one decimal place. A dash means the month is outside the report’s coverage. May 2025 for 4 Natural Gas and October 2026 for both reports are partial months.

Both reports show losses in October 2025, June 2026 and August 2026. A strong total can coexist with repeated losing periods. The rounded monthly figures are period returns on the displayed margin basis; they are not a prediction for the next month.

Weekday performance: useful evidence, not a new trading rule

Weekday18 Natural Gas net P&L / days4 Natural Gas net P&L / days

Tuesday₹23,880 / 49₹42,845 / 64
Wednesday₹22,935 / 53₹44,123 / 68

Friday₹28,989 / 51₹22,472 / 68
Sunday, one recorded day−₹219 / 1−₹219 / 1

Monday contributed the most net P&L in the 18 Natural Gas report; Thursday led in the 4 Natural Gas report. All five regular weekdays were positive in each report. Their histories and day counts differ, so raw totals alone do not justify switching off other weekdays. A weekday-filtered version would need its own evaluation.

These PDFs were exported on 13 October 2026 and cover results through 12 October 2026. The 18 Natural Gas report is labelled “Deployed By: Afzal A”; the 4 Natural Gas report is labelled “Deployed By: rRavitrade.” They are snapshots of those deployments, not an audit of all subscribers or proof that every fill was an exchange-executed Live Auto order.

What I want readers to take from this update

I want these updates to make the complete journey easier to inspect: the gains, the drawdowns, the losing months and the assumptions behind “net” returns. Both records finished this snapshot at their equity peaks, but neither reached that point without setbacks. Read the full reports and the shared record rather than relying on the headline alone.

Risk and scope: Retail Algo Trader is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. This post is an informational summary of the supplied reports, not personalised investment advice. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Commodity options involve substantial risk, margins can change, and losses can exceed intended stop thresholds. Brokerage, slippage and execution differences can materially change an individual account’s outcome. These Mega-contract reports do not establish performance for any newly created Mini version.

Sources: the two attached Tradetron PDF snapshots dated 13 October 2026; strategy pages linked above; Retail Algo Trader’s published shared-code directory. Figures are reproduced from the PDFs. Rounded tables and some fill-count annotations in the source reports do not reconcile exactly; no combined portfolio return or fill-count claim has been inferred.
